Hello!

It’s been a while, hope you’ve all been doing alright.

To give a little context, I’ve been busy figuring out how to move out of my apartment by the end of June, since the next place is only ready the day after, so the logistics of that have been pretty messy :v.

But, as the title mentions, I’m gonna be taking a break!

It’s not for any bad reason really, I’ve just been quite exhausted after the exams, and with the move coming soon, I won’t really have it in me to make a fully fledged post right after the fact either.

Feels like I need some time to really settle after that AND the exams you know? That, and give myself more time to write my upcoming post, since it’s been a while since I’ve really ruminated on what I’d like to write on a post.

So, Sunday, July 4th it is!

Plus, one other thing, and it’s about 2 posts ago, ‘two movies’. Just a heads up for anyone who read it before I updated it (or got it by email) I went ahead and fixed the pronouns I used for jax, since she’s a girl.

When the movie first came out, I was fully on board with the fact that she was trans, I think it’s pretty obvious even without gooseworx (the author’s) explicit mention of it, but I think I was so used to referring to jax as a dude it didn’t really register in my head, at least at the time, to switch up my vernacular, or when. My bad :’).

In general the second half of the post about tadc could’ve used more time in the oven, I feel like I recapped more than I got into how it made me feel, but that’s something I may revisit when I’m back.

Regardless of jax being trans, she’s a pretty relatable character to me (in only some ways, with the obvious caveat tbat she’s still mostly a cunt, and responsible for a lot of horrible shit), and I don’t feel I did the best job of getting that across.

Same goes my writing in general, I wanna be a little less racap-y and share more obscure shit, and how I feel about them, so that’ll also be something to think about.

It may also give me some time to update the site, no promises on that tho :p.

So yea, that’s all for now. I’m gonna go play some minecraft, which I’d also love to tell you more about but NOT NOW >:).
