I dont know if this is just me but anyone notice themselves play exclusively one game at a time for several weeks and refuse to look at any other games for the time period? Okay exclusively is a big claim but at least 99% of your playtime being just one game. It was ultrakill, now it’s isaac. ITS FUN, but also MISERABLE, cuz someone explain to me HOW THE HELL IM SUPPOSED TO BEAT GREEDIER MODE AS EITHER VERSION OF THE LOST????? I just came off of a 9 lives run on lost in greedier mode, and lost every life to the final boss. On the last life, I got his health to 0 AND THE RUBBLE AFTER HE LANDED KILLED ME. IN THE MIDDLE OF HIS DEATH ANIMATION. GODDAMIT.

So there’s that. I also finally finished teen titans and the movie. Before you even ask, Im not watching teen titans go, ive got my fill and that version of the franchise isnt what im looking for right now. Also why the ending for the main series is such a hard pill to swallow? Like goddamn, just end like any regular show would. instead, it’s this whole thing about letting go of what you love, they BRING TERRA BACK just to THROW HER BACK OUT THE WINDOW. WTFFFFFFFFF.

I get it, it makes sense. The message is neat, I can even see why terra had to go. Kinda. It’s still one hell of an ending considering how much more teen titans seasons we were supposed to get, instead we get beast boy running out of the school ready to help the team with another mission. Very bittersweet.

On music, ive been trying to diversify some more. I like the music I listen to now, but I also know there’s a lot of cool popular shit, so I tried some the other day. I listened to IGOR for the first time. AND WHAT A FUCKING RIDE. Genuinely, I did not expect it to hit home the way it did. I get it, tyler is a great artist, but ive heard bits of his songs, even listened to one of the songs on the album on its own A LOT (and you probably know which one). I’d totally listen to them, but theyre not gonna blow me away right?

It was GORGEOUS. THE WHOLE ALBUM. HOW? The whole story and its progression from one song to another, the beats and instrumentals AND THE FUCKING ENDING. ALL OF IT WAS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD.

Also, before when I used to listen to new magic wand, I didnt know what he was talking about. I’d just vibe. It was nice, but you mean to tell me HE WAS TALKING ABOUT A GUN, THE WAND IS A GUN?????? DAMN. Not to say it isnt cool as shit and it makes perfect sense, BUT STILL.

Thing is I dont really listen or internalize any of the lyrics and usually just daydream to the music I listen to. Half the songs I listen to dont have lyrics anyways. But actually listening to what the singer is saying and finding the message, and in this case following the story, is so fun (I know im not exactly sherlock holmes but leave me be :D). Im very happy to have checked it out.

I loved the slight pauses in the album, where youd hear tyler or whoever else say something relevant to the whatever’s going on, like when we snapping but to reality in puppet. It connects the whole story in a nice way, makes it feel a lot more like a one whole listening experience instead of just several songs in an album.

I have some other albums ill check out, ive been told to check out frank ocean so far but there are some others I took screenshots of id like to check out. Ill talk about them if theyre cool.

Off topic, but how do you start paragraphs? Im genuinely so confused, should I write these like english essays and use certain phrases to connect paragraphs, just jump from idea to idea? DOES IT EVEN MATTER? Idk
