And we’re back. Hello again :].

Im doing pretty alright this week and in general thanks for asking (you probably didnt ask x)), even if its been a pretty exhausting week all things considered. Both final exams are in less than 5 days each, I had to say goodbye to many of my classmates since our last official day (the exams are online) was last friday, I made some pretty good food, and made the slay the princess post yesterday, which i’m still proud about.

Yea idk, im just really happy to have gotten it out there. To be clear, I was narrating the writing for the post a day or two before the post itself, it was really gratifying to get it to completion, even more so given how early I did it that day.

Seriously (and this shouldve been obvious), but getting a good start to the day really makes a nice difference. Its not even much to do, just not touching the phone when you wake up + stopping yourself from using it once it hits a certain time depending on the circumstances before bed (like if its 12 I stop at 12 20 and chill to some music or read), made a nice difference in productivity yesterday, and I could get to writing the post since around 1 or 2 p.m. Of course finishing it took around 2 and a half to 3 hours, but I enjoyed every moment.

Didnt do any of that today, but I got to call my sis, which was equally nice.

Cant believe its almost over though. Dont get it twisted, these next 2 exams, written physics and math finals, are the hardest exams we’ll have faced this year, AND the module lead for the maths course was gone for months while we were learning, so we’ve sort of got to pick up the pieces based off the available learning material, but they gave us sufficient learning material id say. And we get a 2nd chance in case we dont pass.

Ill be alright :).

Funnily enough, something big happening the day after the last final? MY FUCKING BIRTHDAY ON THE 26TH >:D.

To be honest, I dont see much happening that day, but im excited.

BEFORE THE CONCERN, just know that I dont mind. I had something similar for this eid, I wasnt invited for anything so I spent the day getting cooking ingredients from a chinese oriental supermarket (then cooking when I was home but I forgot what it was exactly honestly), and drinking some chinese ice tea at the park. It was pretty serene, just how I like it.

I feel the need to preface that with an attempt to dismiss concern because many people ive told this see it as sad, but I dont mind it at all. If anything, days like those put me in a really good mood, since theres no exhaustion from a tedious days worth of socializing with tons of people over a special day, and I get to spend it as I like, maybe with people and maybe not.

But no matter what, its a celebration with a calm atmosphere, and I love that the most.

Its not like my friends or family wont wish me happy birthday anyways :p. Id love if I could go see them, I honestly do, but ill have to live with things as is, though “as is” is pretty cool in its own right.

And hey, if youve come across this, dont take this as a signal to leave me alone that day (obviously NOT) FEEL FREE TO SAY HI >:), id love to hear from you. If I already know you, or you just wanna add me on discord, lets do something. The day is practically empty (other than when people want to wish me a happy birthday ofc) and thats just how I like it, we can find something fun to do together :), or just chill.

O yea, the last school day. It was pretty fun, hung out with classmates after the last class for a bit, and the walk to the bus station with the usual dude was really nice, but also THESE PICTURES

But yea, SOMEONE (you know yourself <3) took some really cool pictures with a film camera, and these were awesome so I had to share them with you. There are more, but I dont want to show anybody off who might not want to be shown off. For now, just thank the cameraman, they deserve the admiration :).

It was a really great year in terms of friends. I met so many amazing people, and I couldnt have asked for nicer. Theyre all really friendly and it was a pleasure.

In the after-class discussion, there was a lot of talk but also awkwardness between people (as there always is), but no judgement, sort of realizing that we were all just happy with each other despite social bumps was really refreshing. I felt like, even if I CAN be awkward, they can be too, and nobody really payed it any mind.

Again, really nice people. To any of you reading this, I wish you the best. Even if we dont hear from each other again (though I hope we do) getting to spend time with and get to know so many different minds, including yours, was such a wonderful and joyous experience, thanks for sharing each moment with me.

Okay enough sap, how about some free time activities ive been doing?

Ive been finding the piano really fun now that I can access it so easily, ive sort of just been playing for the hell of playing, without any notes. I still only really play on one hand, but im having fun.

I played deltarune’s “dont forget” the other day from memory, and of course its from memory so its pretty simple off note compared to the real thing, but GOD is it satisfying. Cant say why but past any amount of criticism of my playing of the piece in my own head, even in the many times I botched my own version of it, I had fun :). I hope to keep going, maybe by the time the omori sheet music arrives ill be able to play some of it?

Speaking of the piano though, im not sure whats been going on wallet wise for this to be the case but im FILTHY RICH? JUST ABOMINABLY AND DISGUSTINGLY WEALTHY?

Maybe its because I havent been going out as much, or because of the sweet and sour chicken + mongolian beef I made both lasting so long I barely had to go to the grocery store and stuck to just buying veggies and basic commodities, maybe my not ordering online finally payed off >:), BUT DAMN AM I DOING GOOD FOR THE LAST 10 DAYS OF THE MONTH, I SHOULD NOT HAVE THIS MUCH LEFT.

Espescially given I bought the piano stand.

All of this to say, assuming moving out doesnt cost too much to do since theres a lot to move, I might damn well be able to start piano classes soon :0.

Ive been DYING to go, I mean COME ON if youve been reading these posts YOU KNOW I mentioned this AGEEES AGO, and I finally have the piano and everything! And now classes are gone too!!! ITS TIME:D!!!!!:D!

Of course, I did just kind of disappear from the music place I kept visiting, which I do kinda feel bad for since I went several times and told them id be back and all, and that was like 4 months ago at this point, but assuming i go there ready to pay with my hard earned dabloons and now knowing im ready to practice at home THEY WONT MIND.

…I hope :v.

And as for the vacation itself, Ill have a bunch more time on my hand to start creating stuff. I can draw a bunch more (ive drawn on the tablet but its very sporadic and I feel guilty if I have stuff to study) (O and especially on the desk now that I have it back so traditional art too) and thats fun.

Though crucially, ill still probably need some extra dough if I ever wanna replace my cracked dusty musty phone, so who knows. I could even finally get a job like my dad’s wanted me to.

That part is admittedly scary, since its likely once I do get one there’s no going back, my family will probably want me to keep the job to help sustain me living here financially, but that’s a totally fair thing to ask of me given the privileges ive been given to even be able to live here. As long as it doesnt weigh on me too much, ill try it out ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

Dont even really gotta tell em, could just get hired and fired. We’ll see AFTER ive moved out.

Its not bad, and if you have the cush cash for it its totally fair and reasonable and maybe even beneficial, but itll need a LOTTA CASH. Right now we’d be paying around 1,100 pounds per month if we were to renew the contract, which is beefy (and not that worth it tbh). Ill be finding somewhere further from the centre myself. Besides, id like for there to be more places near where I live, with particularly more greenery. The lack of it in the city centre is pretty annoying. Not that being here doesnt come with its benefits (expensive malls coffee shops and restaraunts), but I (and probably you) could do with better.

I absolutely fucking love slay the princess, this game is amazing. Playing through it just today, I found routes id never seen. The game really is a plethora of experiences in the very strenous but worthwhile journey of love, and I love uncovering its routes.
