Wow. What a week.

Hello again :). Hopefully anyone who reads this is doing well. Im alright myself as of now. That is just present tense though.

This week was AWFUL. AWFUL AS BUNS, especially at the start. Im not even gonna try and hide that, academics and personal bouts have been tossing me all over the place, and i’m as tired as i’ve always been, but damn are there still some nice things going on despite that. Normally I feel like I would have to mull over how much to share, and honestly since the start of the week it’s been on my mind how negative my posts can tend to be, even if I mean to be fun while doing it and just blab on about annoying stuff.

But honestly? Now that we are here, things have calmed down a lot on all ends, especially in my own mind. Turns out my formative physics exam isnt till two weeks from now, which is a BLESSING, since its easily gonna be harder than math in terms of amount of content and its difficulty, but now I got more time to study.

Same with the weather. I hated when it was tilting towards negative degrees celsius, but DAMN is it not much better when its 25 -_-. It goes from unbelievably cold to annoyingly hot, which wouldnt even be that bad but they add mosquitos to even the scales. Not jeddah or riyadh mosquitos though, these mosquitos COME AT YOU like bullets or fucking kamikaze soldiers, fully willing to die for the sake of getting under your skin (lol). You feel them practically stick onto you, and they often go for the face, which makes me feel like my glasses are more protective eyegear than for my vision honestly.

That was more at the start of the week though, and now that things have had time to progress it’s steadied out to around 13 degrees or so, which is SO MUCH BETTER THAN EITHER OF THEM. Definetely not perfect, but im not asking for perfect and i’m perfectly content as is.

Still, I obviously can’t open my windows anymore, since there are so many mosquitos around trying to get at me, and trust me I TRIED. Im not just saying that as a precaution these guys are OUT TO GET ME. Besides, it’s not cold enough to noticably cool the flat before heading to bed anyways.

This thing, this 15 pound appliance of pure unadelterated breeze , has been SAVING MY LIFE.

Im not even overexaggerating when I tell you I haven’t gotten A SINGLE nights rest as good as when I decided to buy this fan, on any day i’ve slept in the UK, NOT ONE. Not only that, but I get to keep using it throughout the day without anywhere near the same amount of electrical cost as an actualy AC. WHY THE FUCK DIDNT I BUY ONE SOONER?????????

I genuinely will never know. Honestly, I wanna buy another one, for the whole “air in air out” with one fan in and the other out of both windows. But I dont think I need it that bad right now, my sleep is as good as its ever been with just one fan in the picture.

Before I get that sorted I honestly need to get this unquenchable thirst out of the way. Im not kidding, im drinking liters in what should only ever be limited to just a few sips, IM PARCHED AND OUt OF MY MIND. I guess its probably the weather, since it was at its worst at 25 degrees, but its still sort of lingering. Maybe I just do need to drink more water tho, who knows ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

Anyhow, any of you heard of horse race test? When I heard about it, I was NOT expecting so much sick art and lore, but what suprised me more were the colors.

If you didnt know already, orange is my favorite color. I think for a lil bit in high school it was blue, and blue is still awesome and a close second, but orange is just the best. Its a moodsetter, is practically everywhere and I love it to death.

With that being said, you can imagine my expectations for the orange horse going into HRT knowing there were so many differently colored horses were pretty LOW. Just off of probability, there were like 6 other horses who all had equal chances to win any given match, of COURSE as much as I love orange I was not expecting whoever the orange horse was to win that much, just be any other horse honestly-

Actually hold up im changing the title of this post to HRT for gits and shittles, it’d be pretty funny if anyone clicked onto this thinking of the wrong HRT >:)).

All this talk about HRT lowkey makes me wanna find a favorite color now though. Not just a colour, but THE colour color you know? Like amaranth for purple instead of just purple, you know??? I should do that sometime.

Super off kilter but now I really wanna take the ennegram test. What if I just took a BUNCH of personality tests and put them in a file, and every year or so I redo each test to see how things change? I could even sync the big file containing each individual year with all my devices using syncthing, like how I sync my keepass files. That’d be fucking awesome.

Alas, an idea for another day. I need to go study and do boring student stuff like finish my coursework. I’ll totally get on that once im free though, or maybe tomorrow if I finish early since I dont have classes tomorrow anyways. Ima go get that done, and maybe watch some more adventure time when I can (got back on it today and man have I missed it, its so carefree I love it :))
