Im in leeds, its monday, its weird. But thats fine, I like that. Its always weird nowadays. I stayed up for the flight so I didnt get any sleep that day, slept in 1-2 hour blocks in the plane whenever I didnt need to BADLY go to the bathroom, and stayed up the rest of the way back home till hitting the bed for like 12 hours. That was saturday, and yea it was very tiring. I thought thatd be the end of things but nah, I didnt end up sleeping on sunday. Basically EVERY store was closed sunday, and I already woke up pretty late (6 pm-ish) so when it got late I thought I might as well wait till morrisons opens so I can go get my long overdue groceries (literally everything other than my canned chili and canned pineapples was rot and mold infested). So I did, and then I slept at 2ish and NOW we’re here :D.
SO thats things sleep wise, lemme just get dig into the roots of the topic for a bit though. For one, I forgot my earphones in riyadh, which hurt a lot. Not because I cant live without them (though the trip was much more boring cuz of it (I slightly cant live without them :(( ) but mostly because its gonna COST ME SO MUCH TO GET A NEW PAIR. Im looking to get another pair from moondrop right now, which was what I had b4 my dad broke them and put me on fiio (which is god knows how much more expensive for basically the same quality), but honestly im probably not gonna touch that can of worms until the month is over, id rather not fork over that much cash.
As for flat arrival, holy hell did the toilet smell. Not of something outwardly rancid, like feces or piss or sum shit (more like dry wall?), but there was some rust looking thing in the toilet? It had me thinking someone unlocked the door and took a dump, but also that THING was NOT SHIT. I flushed it immediately so I didn’t get the best look at it, but either way I ended up clearing all the leftover residue with a toilet cleaning solution I had lying around. That, and the food being expired was a TRIP. ALMOST EVERYTHING WAS GROWING STUFF. The eggs and milk and bread were obviously just outright bad now, just threw them out immediately, but god the rest of it was so funny. Both because the fridge actually smelled green and actually nice, and because it LOOKS SO FASCINATING. I wish I took some pictures of it, but I couldnt take my eyes off of it. Like, the red kidney beans growing that blob of white mold shit on top of it wasnt all that interesting, but the TOMATO AND PEPPERS, BOTH STILL IN THEIR PACKAGING (with holes in it for breathability so thats probably why it started-) GROWING PATCHES OF GREENERY ON THEM????? It was kinda cool honestly.
(side note but im really excited to have fish and chips tomorrow, its been so long <3)
Anyways, FOUNDATION YEAR. Yea, second semester didnt start monday but actually starts tuesday, which we love to see. I do feel like I got all the rest I needed, so im actually quite excited to jump back into things.I got everything ready, my brain isnt the dried up raisin it was by the end of the semester, all is well and good in the land of academics. Dunno what more to say on it honestly, other than I hope I can keep up well on math and physics, specifically physics. Its a sore spot compared to everything else, but I am saying this before the studying has really started, so god knows. We’ll see how it goes when we’re further in.
Musically, I saw some fun stuff recently. APPARENTLY (and dont tell anyone else this is top secret and just between me and you) nanoray is working on ALBUM 11? Look, I didnt follow his socials or check out his soundcloud till now (honeslty havent touched soundcloud since I was a kid and made that hundreds of songs long minecraft playlist) but I really shouldve, he posted 2 fun tracks on soundcloud and MENTIONED ALBUM 11 OFFHANDEDLY ON TWITTER? NANORAY, let me just say this because it bears mentioning, IF KAMA8 is EVER released MY LIFE IS COMPLETE, MY LIFE IS YOURS. Id have completed EVERY significant event id have EVER needed to pass through to justify death itself just by proxy of its existence. My lifeblood, my SOUL, EVERYTHING WILL BE UNITED AND WHOLLY REALIZED IN UNISON. So PLEASE, im fucking BEGGING YOU, RELEASE KAMA8 NEXT ALBUM (also luv ur music <3).
Also, and I cant believe I neglected to mention this, FUCKING METAROOM AND FEMTANYL MINITOUR???? LETS FUCKING GOOOOOOOSOD;IFUGHLSIUHGBLISHNGHRS>:)))

IM SO FUCKING EXCITED THO :D. Obviously I cant go, as much as I wish I could, but the fact that this means 2 of my top 3 are touring together HAS to mean theyll collaborate on a track sometime, and IM DYING to hear it, the tour the collab ANY OF IT. Also, its just really fucking cool, theyre both really cool artists.
Anywho, since thats what the top 3 are up to and thats all them out of the way, how about the best composer ever :0. Oliver just released a bunch of stuff with the gaslight district (hes the composer for it), which ill be honest the show is SOLELY on my radar because of him. Dont get me wrong, once I watched the pilot I LOVED it, and am definitely waiting on more to release. I loved the idea they were running with, the girl hiding shes human, trying to gaslight the whole district, its very on the nose but fun and the presentation, and HOLY HELL THE ART, IS GORGEOUS. Its GRIMY AND FILTHY, but also at times just BEAMING with this otherworldly RADIANCE, but GODDAMN does oliver FUCKING SELL IT SO GOOD with his music, I genuinely dont think there was a better composer for the job. Please, keep hiring this man.
Last thing for this week, deltarune obsession is back and its so strong this time around. I love the memes, the story, the characters, the fun ass mods, but most of all THE ART. The animatics, animations and art and edits made for this game are so fucking cool, and I love how some of them flesh out the characters more, or explore ways things could go down, or just fun to look at and listen to, or just PURE shitposts. Its all so fun I could do it forever. Here’s a favorite of mine.
