I’m finally done applying for a study visa, now I just gotta wait. God bless.

It was a very normal process, nothing crazy to mention. parts of it were a little vague, some documents could be interpreted as necessary to send over and some not, but we got it all sorted out. There was a mishap at the end, with them emailing me asking me to send over proof of what I’ve been doing for the past 5 years outside of school. Had to explain that I graduated this year and sent some stuff to prove it. Admittedly, that has me worried. The email they told me to send a response to says in their automated response they wont get back to me for whatever reason, and that the email is purely meant to have stuff get sent stuff to. Considering the mistake is most likely on their end though, since we had several people go over my application before I sent it, theyll hopefully sort it out anyhow. I say MOST LIKELY cuz honestly, I wouldnt be surprised if me and everyone else who double checked the form was just dumb about it :D.

Anyways enough VISA NONSENSE ill worry about that later. WHERE THE FUCK IS THE CASSETTE????????????? I dont know if I mentioned this already, probably not. I really like femtanyl’s music, its so fucking cool. That, and the art is mentally ill and it’s awesome. I ordered the 2nd edition chaser cassettes back in august, honestly got lucky cuz there were only 2 left, and it was supposed to arrive october 17 at most. Nothing yet though, and honestly? I dont wanna have to refund it. Look ill be honest, I was WAY better off buying the cd. Cassettes are more aesthetically pleasing and I think they’re cooler, but the sound quality isnt that good and idk where id play it yet. Vinly has a similar audio problem, and is from my understanding harder to get the equipment for. Cd’s dont have the problem of audio quality and are nice in their own right though. That, and we happen to be able to play cd’s in the car(im never playing that shit in the car im not crazy, just found it cool). Probably would still have to figure out how ill play cd after the fact the same way I would after I got the cassette, but i think it wouldve been easier. All this to say I DONT WANNA REFUND IT. I STILL WANT IT, I LIKE THE MUSIC, I LIKE FEMTANYL, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD JUST ARRIVE. Bandcamp says to give the company 5-7 business days to respond to emails, and it’s been 5 days. Im praying to god they respond soon, but the way things are going and the lack of communication im probably gonna be refunding it. Shame, it still wouldve been cool to have it, but I didnt wait all this time just to not hear a peep of how my shipment’s been. For all I know, it’s still in america. If so, at least Ill get my money back :D.

OOOK got some new games and theyve been fun. Was looking for something to scratch the platforming itch and found two games to try out. Finished ghoulscrapers in a sitting and it was really fun, small 2d platformer with several inspirations in mechanics taken from celeste and nintendo’s handful of platforming. There were even B-sides, neat :). The dev times for each level ARE HARD THOUGH. Ive only beat one out of the five, and it was easily the most lenient. God knows when im beating the rest but we’ll get there.

Then there’s psuedoregalia. Its alright. Honestly, im really on the fence about it. YES it’s a 3d platformer and all but the slow grind to get all the movement tech and the need for guides to figure out where the hell im going kinda gets at me. Ill stick through it though, I think it’ll pay off.

Also, PSYCHOPOMP, GOLD????? I watched A video on pyschopomp a LOOOOOOOOOONG time ago, Liked it for the unique style. Was kind of a shame I spoiled it, but the other day I found out THERE’S A GOLD VERSION, IT RELEASED YESTERDAY, AND ITS ON SALE???? Even if I knew the story i’d have bought it, but the best part is I DONT REMEMBER SHIT. Im actually really excited, it looks unnerving in the best way imaginable, like its gonna dig a hole in my cranium and im all here for it.

How about albums? Well, dont know if this counts but I think it more than does. I started listening to gorillaz again. ITS AMAZING. Its so fucking zany and some of the songs are just the right amount of pizzazz, I love it. There are the obvious hits like up on melancholy hill, Feel good inc, BUT THERES SO MUCH MORE. Dont get me wrong, I knew gorillaz, had the lore explained to me and everything(it was really fucking fun <3(FUCK MURDOC)), listened to some songs here and there. but actually digging and watching the old music videos, listening to the albums ITS ALL SO CHARMING. I love it, it’s the coolest virtual band by a long shot, not that I know any other notable ones. For now, I’ve listened to demon days. Awesome album, dirty harry is amazing but O green world grew on me a crazy amount, definetely my personal favorite. Listened to some gorillaz(the album) before that too but not enough. Ill finish it by next post.
