Messy few weeks. Caught up with a few classmates, watched some of the shows I mentioned last time, and some other ones. Let’s talk shows.

YOU was alright. If we’re talking premise, its disgusting. Execution wasnt at all bad though. It was about the same as the prediction I made, just less extreme. He’s deplorable, but they put you in his situation to sympathize. doesnt work, joe is still fucking deplorable, but it makes for an intersting viewing experience. I tried watching season 2 but honestly couldnt start up episode 2, it’s the same shenanigans with a different coat of paint. Ill revisit it sometime but for now, it gets shelved for another time.

Avatar the last airbend too, just finished the series and it was fantastic. Messy ending though, Weird statue animal thing that came and taught aang about the soul or whatever tf he did and let aang take people’s bending was really rushed and didnt make any sense, but other than that it was SUCH an amazing show, genuinely. Sokka is still king, zuko was sick to watch after he joined the gang, and so was him learning more about the origins of firebending. We could go into individual adventures all day, but all i’d have to say by the end is that I wish there were more.

Something that came up really recently too was stranger things. Saw it on saturday a few hours before I had the IELTS and thought id give it a shot. Watched the first episode and went to bed after. I finished season 1 yesterday :D. It was pretty fun, I liked the detective a lot, and the emotional scenes hit home way more than I thought they would. Only real issue was the first episode when the hawkins guys and girls came over to burger guy’s joint, whyd they kill him? you’d think if theyre willing to kill see fruitlessly they wouldve just killed anyone else in their way, including the detective, mom, and kids right? Just makes them seem more threatening than they were actually willing to be, that’s all. I also really like how they portrayed nancy in the show. The whole time she was with steve, everyone around her kept saying how she wasnt herself, when in truth she was. Even with the douchbagery steve brought on, she liked him despite it and it paid off big time in the end. It wasnt some shenanigans of him being an ass the whole time only for nancy to dump him and go for the another guy (probably in a cliche like that’s case it’s johnathon). Na, she actually stick to her guns. And steve went and had one of the sickest scenes in the show with that awesome demogorgon fight, I loved every bit of it. Sick stuff.

As you might have already guessed from earlier, I finally did the IELTS 2 days ago. They gave us a whole spiel of the results coming in between 3 to 5 calendar days after testing, but I got the score yesterday. It was an 8 :D. Good stuff. Couldve done better, but that goes for anything academic related. More than happy with what I got, it’s a great mark.

That being said it means i’m definetely going to be going to the UK, so far the plan is on the university of leeds. Already got accepted and will start applying for the visa, cant wait to see go and study :). It’ll be a great community and a much easier time for me language wise since everyone will be speaking english. Gotta wait and see to know for sure though.

One last thing, go listen to spiral 2008. yes, the fucking PES song. I love it it’s great, new dog bus rn. Okay bye >:)).
