The performance task is due in 3 days. Don’t have a new project, so it seems like i’ll just send the draft instead. Finished the khan academy comp sci principles course on Thursday, and that was quite fun. Gotta start studying for calculus tomorrow, which wont be nearly as bearable but i’ll just have to live with it. Both exams are pretty low stakes in terms what I NEED to get as a score. And I like it that way.

As for the week, it passed by quite quick. Best of the school days was definitely Wednesday, went out with friends for breakfast instead of attending the AP classes in school, since most of them were free periods anyways. The breakfast was alright, afterwards we went and rented a place to play since they wanted to get on fifa, I opted to play bread and fred on the new laptop with a classmate while they did their tournament, and things went well. The best part of the day though was when we went to a cafe after the fact, and sat there chilling and watching F1’s Chinese grand prix. Good time. The atmosphere and design of the place was also way sleeker and cleanerr than where theyd rented the ps5, so that was a nice breath of fresh air.

Every other chance I had when I was home on weekdays I was studying khan academy’s comp sci principles until I finally finished it on thursday. I’d try to draw if I had the time, and or wanna play the piano, but I haven’t touched the latter in a while. Wish I had a bit more time, but it’s not getting better with calculus study. At least I had the weekend for it, plus once the AP exams are over I’ll have barely anything to worry about :).

ALSO YEA GOT A NEW LAPTOP. Got the m1 from my dad since i’ll be moving soon. It’s what i”m writing this from, and it’s so much fucking better than the 2012 Macbook pro. The battery life is longer than 2 hours, my lap isn’t getting fried from the laptops heat, the laptop isn’t physically combusting and the fans aren’t spinning at speeds an airplane would be jealous of, over apps like CHESS. IT’S HEAVEN. Makes life so much easier. Will probably Install linux on it and dual boot sometime, but i’m not thinking about that right now. maybe some time after the exam.

Last thing to note is I went for hours yesterday searching about cassettes and vinyl, and part of me really wants a walkman. They have such a cool look and feel to them, shame it’s hard to get a good one nowadays. Especially considering the most well regarded walkman, the sony DD9, IS EXPENSIVE AS SHIT. It goes for upwards of $1,842 on eBay, MISS ME WITH THAT SHIT.
